Pan-Fried Fennel
serves 4
Ingredients
fennel, sliced, par-boiled, cooled
egg, beaten and seasoned
bread crumbs
lemon juice
Parmigiano cheese, grated
Instructions
Dredge the fennel slices in the egg, then in the bread crumbs. Fry the slices in oil until well-browned, turning once, about 30 seconds per side.
Plate, dress with lemon juice and Parmigiano, then serve.
